Morris-Jenkins has a serious sense of humor and Charlotte residents know them because of their spokesperson, Bobby, who stars in all of their commercials. They came to Rocket Media looking for something different than any other HVAC website. Something unique and filled with personality (like them).
Morris-Jenkins had a website that they felt didn’t reflect who they were. It looked like every other HVAC website. They didn’t want that. They wanted something different and modern.
They also wanted a website that helps them attract and hire good people. They have an innovative “Tech Builder” program that trains people with no experience to become awesome HVAC technicians. Yet this had little real estate on the old site.
A multi-step form
Most webforms are long and cumbersome. Morris-Jenkins and Rocket Media wanted to create something that was shorter and easier to use. The new form only asks a few questions at a time, gently encouraging the user to continue filling it out rather than overwhelming them with a giant list of fields.
The form also has logic built in that asks the user different questions depending on previous answers. This lets Morris-Jenkins get only the information they need and nothing they don’t.
A troubleshooter — featuring Bobby!
Many customers want to be able to troubleshoot their problem before calling an HVAC company to make sure it’s not something small they could do themselves. We created a custom troubleshooter that walks customers through common HVAC problems and how to solve them on their own.
Of course, if the problem needs a professional, the troubleshooter directs the user to contact Morris-Jenkins.
A custom careers page
We created a custom careers page that highlights the unique culture of Morris-Jenkins. The page includes high-level benefits of working there, a listing of open positions as well as some of the videos they’ve created that show off their culture.
